Grip Steel pommel covered with silver plates in a trilobular shape. Wooden grip covered with silver. Solid gold-plated silver crossguard with curved quillons leading to the blade ending in clover shapes, adorned with arabesques. Shields of Castile and León on the cross.
Blade Straight, very wide, flat, and flexible, with a deep fuller and circular engravings, double-edged with a clipped point.

Scabbard Wood covered by five plates of gold-plated silver with elements of Hispano-Arabic design, containing 76 gemstones, notably a large amethyst.
Potential Owner Possibly belonged to a king of Castile in the 13th century, such as Ferdinand III “the Saint” or Alfonso X “the Wise”.
