Guard | Of bowl, formed by the happy conjunction of pierced and open lobes like the petals of a flower and rings linked all around the perimeter of the upper edge. Determined quillons with straight arms decorated with slight notches. Handguard ring and side plates in the same decorative style. Pointed escutcheon. Rectangular crossguard. Knob in flattened sphere on a truncated cone base. Fusiform grip entirely covered with smooth metal wire. Two ferrules in ring. |
Blade | Straight, with three pierced channels in the strong third. Edges on both sides. Rhomboidal section in the second and third thirds. |
