Guard Deep hemispherical cup, without perforations or lobes, no break-point edge, lantern-shaped pommel with fluting, wired wooden grip, smooth ferrules.
Blade Straight and thin, double-edged, with a deep groove in the strong third.

Description Rapier swords with straight and long blades had a fencing style different from what is shown in “musketeer” films, commonly employing a left-hand dagger or a shield.
