Guard | Made of shells and ribbon in perfect combination. The shells, complete and raised, are pierced with concentric circles and small shells on top, and finished with a bar to serve as an effective point breaker. Long cylindrical quillons reinforced by arches and bars that connect these quillons with the upper edge of the shells and the center of the handguard, forming a set of effective solidity. Pommel in a urn shape. Tapered grip wrapped with iron wire. The ricasso is the part integrated into the guard that allows positioning of the fingers for better handling of the weapon. |
