Era circa 1815
Hilt Gold-colored brass, French style, Consular and Imperial period ring, long pommel with cap, ebony or horn textured grip, short ball-shaped pommel.
Blade Large curve, wide and flat without hollowing, flat back, continuous edge, double-edged guard, decorated with floral motifs in the first half.
Scabbard Black-colored iron, with a throat and ring.
Inscription F VII under a royal crown and the shield of Spain
Description Example without a regulation saber, with curved blades, difficulty for defense, requiring the use of the regulation smallsword.
