Blade | Straight, with a square face and back in the first third, two faces and two edges in the remaining two-thirds. |
Scabbard | Likely made of leather, with a silver throat and chape. |
Inscription | RL Factory of Toledo Year 1817 – RS GS WS. Silver punch “of 1817 and Z.M.” |
Description | Silver sword, used by chiefs and officers of the Royal Guard. In 1817, it was part of King Ferdinand VII’s outer guard. It disappeared in 1818 with the regiment change. |
