Name Saber of Grenadier and Infantry Hunter Sergeants, model 1818
Hilt Cast in a single block of brass, gilded in the officer’s version, with galloons on the grip and guard with a finished pommel in a small ball.
Blade Curved, with a flat spine on the exterior in the first two-thirds where it bears destination inscriptions, with the edge outward and on the blade. Shorter than the officer’s.
Scabbard Made of sole material, with a brass throat and tip. Button for suspension on the baldric.
