Hilt Turkish style, golden metal structure, ebony grips, rosette button for the knot, straight quillons and engraved locket guides, cipher “Y2” under royal crown.
Blade Curved and flat, spine and false edge raised, full outer edge.
Scabbard Leather with silver-plated brass and iron fittings, two bands and rings.
Inscription Toledo Factory Year 1844. According to Royal Decree of May 30, 1840, Brigadier saber “equal” to General’s, ebony or horn grips, guard metal in silver and cipher “Y2″.
