General Staff emblem (five-pointed star between oak branches) on the front; only oak branches on the back. |
Blade | Curved with a small ricasso, spine and false edge raised on the inside, full edge on the outside. |
Scabbard | Iron with two bands and their corresponding rings. |

Additional Description | The General Staff Corps had no official curved blade saber. This saber is similar to the 1840 General Officer model adapted with the Corps emblem, according to the regulations of September 8, 1843. |
