Mounting | Gilded brass with cross of two flat quillons, double shell guard, coat of arms of Spain between oak and laurel branches, initials “G C”, ring with chiselled decoration and pommel with military triumphs, ebony grip with gilded spirals. |
Blade | Straight with ricasso, edge on the outside, fuller and slight hollow grind on the first two-thirds, double-edged with three facets on the last third. |
Scabbard | Black leather with gilded brass throat and tip, Spanish coat of arms on the anchoring button. |
