Blade | Slightly curved, with a fullers. Nearby and parallel channels to the back. Almost imperceptible hollowing. Rounded spine up to the guard with a false edge; external until almost halfway, edge for the rest up to the tip. |
Sheath | Made of iron, with two hooks and rings. Bell-shaped throat. |

Types | Engraved or plain basket, engraved blades, plain with channels, or troop-like with hollowing. Steel sheath with two or a single ring if manufactured after January 18, 1894. Some examples lined with leather for use in Africa. |
