Hilt | Similar to the 1895 model for mounted institute troops. The guard has the shape of a small hat, the wooden grips are held by two pins, and the metal parts are chrome-plated. The guard cup features the Infantry emblem. |
Blade | Curved and chrome-plated, with a knuckle guard and a cutting edge along the outside. Square back on the first two-thirds and narrow edge on the inside for the last third. Smooth hollow grind from the knuckle guard to the ricasso. |
Scabbard | Chrome-plated iron, with a wide mouthpiece fixed by a screw, a clamp with a ring, and a strap loop. The chape has asymmetrical wings. |

Description | From the Robert sketches, the only regulation model for mounted institutes, it was intended for the troops. The other officer sabers are variants of this one. Its production continued well into the 20th century. |
