Guard	Closed steel cup, round on the inside, without quillon and tapering towards the pommel. Handle with two checkered wooden grips. Guard with 1920 Cavalry emblem under a royal crown.
Blade	Puerto Seguro model, straight, with ricasso, square back, edge on the outside, flat hollow-ground surface and groove on the last third of the back.

Scabbard	Nickel-plated iron with throat, clamp with ring, and symmetrical chape.
Inscription	ARTILLERY FCA NATIONAL. TOLEDO
Description	Model approved by Royal Order on August 27, 1908, with a slight difference in size compared to the troop model, being lighter and more manageable.
