Name	Army General Officer Saber Model 1908
Hilt	Turkish style, with bone or ivory grips edged in worked and gilded metal.
Blade	Curved, with a muzzle and fuller. Cutting edge on the entire outside. On the inside, flat back on the first two thirds and cutting edge on the rest. Engraved, gilded and blued up to almost halfway.
Scabbard	Nickel-plated iron with a single ring.
Inscription	FABCA DE TOLEDO YEAR 1914
Regulation Saber	By Royal Decree of September 23, 1908.
Modifications	In 1931, monarchical symbols were replaced by republican ones. In 1940 it featured an imperial crown. Later, it became the Model 1943 saber.
