Hilt | Turkish style, with bone or ivory grips edged in worked and gilded metal. |
Blade | Curved, with a muzzle and fuller. Cutting edge on the entire outside. On the inside, flat back on the first two thirds and cutting edge on the rest. Engraved, gilded and blued up to almost halfway. |
Scabbard | Nickel-plated iron with a single ring. |

Regulation Saber | By Royal Decree of September 23, 1908. |
Modifications | In 1931, monarchical symbols were replaced by republican ones. In 1940 it featured an imperial crown. Later, it became the Model 1943 saber. |
