Name Official Dagger of the Spanish Military Aviation model 1926
Hilt In two pieces of chased and gilded brass; pommel shaped like a royal crown. Short quillons with the Aviation emblem and the Coat of Arms of Alfonso XIII of Spain at the center. Ivory grip with galloons and decorative winding of gold-plated copper wire.
Blade Straight, with a ricasso and two full edges on three facets.
Scabbard Made of gilded brass, with two bands and their corresponding rings.
Inscription FABRICA DE TOLEDO
Description Royal Decree of July 13, 1926; standard machete for commanders and officers of the Spanish Military Aviation. Described as a beautiful officer’s dagger.
