Guard | Chiseled nickel silver, bow-shaped ring, pierced cup with thumb rest and two quillons, Engineers Corps emblem under a crown transformed to republican style. |
Grip | Checkered wood with two pin screws. Pommel in two parts and upper screw to fix the tang’s tail of the blade. |
Blade | Straight, with a square back on the inside and cutting edge on the outside. Flat fullers from the ricasso to the tip. Groove in the back on the thin third. |
Scabbard | Nickel-plated iron, with one band, suspension rings and ring. |
