Name	DAGGER – model 1940
Hilt	Made of gilded brass, consisting of a crossguard with very elaborated straight quillons, lion heads, Spanish Shield with eagle, ivory-like grip with ridges and gilded wire wrap, pommel shaped as an imperial crown.
Blade	Straight, with ricasso and three fullers on double edges up to the point.
Scabbard	Gilded metal, with two diamond-shaped mounts and rings, asymmetrical chape and decorated tip, straps with two golden chains.
Inscription	ARTILLERY FACTORY OF TOLEDO
Description	After the 1936-1939 war, Special Officer Transformation Academies were organized to promote cadets and sergeants. The decree of January 5, 1940, regulated this dagger for the Academy.
