Model Model 1943, straight Puerto Seguro blade
Hilt Swan neck, or Turkish style, with mother-of-pearl or ivory grips, with a slot for the sword knot and a ferrule at the base.
Guard Guard with straight hawk heads ending in a lion’s head, emblem of the Army, and General’s insignia on the reverse.
Blade Puerto Seguro type, straight, with a ricasso, square back on the inner side and sharp edge on the outer side, with a flat-ground section.
Scabbard Nickel-plated iron, with a clamp and a single ring, lyre-type chape.
Sword knot Braid made of gold thread for ceremonial use, black silk cord for daily use.
Inscription FN TOLEDO under imperial crown
Regulation The Uniform Regulation of January 27, 1943 establishes that it shall be a straight Puerto Seguro type for Generals.
