Guard | Closed steel cup, round and tapering towards the pommel. Grip with checkered wooden or synthetic scales. Army emblem, St. John’s Eagle and Santiago’s Cross-Sword under Royal crown. |
Blade | Not Puerto Seguro. Straight, with ricasso, flat back on the inside, edge on the outside and a groove parallel to the back up to the tip. Point aligned with the symmetry axis. Some versions follow the Puerto Seguro model. |
Scabbard | Nickeled iron, with throat and a ringed band. |
