Name Mounted Troop Sabre of the Civil Guard model 1943, Puerto Seguro type
Guard Puerto Seguro type. Closed steel cup, round and tapering towards the pommel. Grip with checkered wooden scales. Three-piece pommel with upper screw. Guard allows display of the Civil Guard emblem, 1943 variant.
Blade Puerto Seguro type. Straight, with quillon, square spine on the inside, edge on the outside, flat hollow grind and groove along the last third of the spine. Ends in a point on the axis of symmetry.
Scabbard Nickel-plated iron with chape and suspension ring. Symmetrical tip.
Inscription FNT under imperial crown (Fábrica Nacional Toledo)
Differences Similar to the previous model, without bluing on the scabbard and guard, and with the Civil Guard emblem instead of the Army.
