Hilt | Straight sparrow hawk crossguard with a hole for the rifle’s muzzle. Two black checkered plastic grips held by two screws. The pommel includes the slot, the latch, and a spring-loaded button for attachment to the special lug or button added to the bayonet lug located under the rifle’s muzzle. Completely parkerized. |
Blade | Straight, with a quillon, square spine on the inside and continuous edge on the outside, curving in an arc, very much in the Spanish style. Wide fuller running from the quillon to the ricasso. |
Scabbard | Parkerized iron sheet. Throat secured by a screw and a rounded button. |

Description | Knife-bayonet designed for use with the old Mauser rifles, models 1893 and 1916, used by all Armed Forces, adapted to their dimensions. Version for the Spanish Navy with phosphated metal parts to prevent rust and reflections, although its use in the Navy was simultaneous with the “normal” unfosfatized model. |
