Mounting | Crossguard with slot for the assault rifle’s muzzle and black plastic grips held by two screw pins. The pommel has a setting or button to attach it to the firearm. |
Blade | With quillon, cutting edge running along the outside up to the ricasso, with a gentle concave curve inherited from 1941 models, the 1907 machete model and, ultimately, from the heroic Hispanic falcatas. Back edge on the inside and a fuller running almost the entire length of the blade. Final finish in bright polished steel. |
Scabbard | Plastic, with its own frog. At the tip, a cord to fasten to the thigh, missing on the displayed specimen. |
Inscription | FNT under Imperial crown (Fábrica Nacional Toledo) SB TOLEDO. First model knife-bayonet for the CETME rifle. Currently, some popularly call it the “dress” or the “white” one. It was also used for the FR-7 and FR-8 rifles. |
