| Hilt | Classic Isabelina style in engraved brass, consisting of a ring, gallery, complete pommel (knob and cap), ferrule, and three hawks with the emblem of the Weapon under a royal crown. Wooden grip covered with leather and wrapped with wire. |
| Blade | Slightly curved and almost always engraved. Rounded spine on the inside in four-fifths and on the outside in the first third. Edges on both sides in the remainder. |
| Scabbard | Made of iron, with two fittings and corresponding rings. Flap boss. |
| Inscription | ARTILLERY FACTORY OF TOLEDO. Sabre model for Artillery officers by Royal Order of June 17, 1862. It became the traditional weapon of the Artillery, serving until 1943. |
