| Hilt | Gilt brass, with a crossguard of two flat quillons decorated with the Arms of Spain beneath a mural crown between oak and laurel branches, initials “GC”, pommel with military triumphs, ferrule, knuckle bow and grip in ebony wood wrapped with golden metal wire. |
| Blade | Straight, almost foil-like, with ridges on the first third and three flat sections double-edged on the rest. |
| Scabbard | Black leather with gilt brass throat and chape. Human head on the sword belt button. |
