Guard Made of brass, in two pieces and shaped like a stirrup. Pommel in a lion head with an imperial-maritime appearance. Visible knob on its top. Reduced base plate, with a large knuckle guard turned inwards. Guard ring twisted at a right angle. Anchored ring at the top.
Blade Curved, very wide, with a broad central hollow, flat spine on the inside, running edge all along the outside, and double-edged tip.

Description It is difficult to find a saber in the belt of a member of the Navy, as its mission was never to be part of a uniform but rather the supplies of a ship. Used by officers, midshipmen, gunners, or masters of some warship of the Spanish Armada.
