Hilt | Turkish style, silver-plated metal structure and ebony grips. Rosette button with an internal tunnel for the strap. Straight quillons and chiseled scabbard guides. |
Blade | Curved and flat, with a reinforced spine and interior false edge, and a full cutting edge on the outside. |
Scabbard | Leather-covered with silver-plated brass fittings for parade and iron fittings for daily use, both with two braces and rings. |
Inscription | Arta Fca de Toledo Year 1849. According to the Royal Order of May 30, 1840, sword for Brigadiers identical to that of Generals, silver hilt and ebony or horn grips. Two scabbards: metal for daily use and black leather with silver fittings for parade. |
