Hilt | Designed under the same concept as the 1895 saber for mounted institute troops, it differs in weight and dimensions, as well as the design of the knuckle bow and the attachment of the wooden grips with two pins. |
Blade | Gently curved, wide ricasso. Edge runs along the outer side and the back is flat for the first two-thirds, a narrow edge on the inner side at the last third with a fuller next to the back in the central third. |
Scabbard | Iron, with a wide throat, one suspension ring with two rings of different sizes, and a chape formed by two unequal ridges. |
Inscription | ARTILLERY TOLEDO FACTORY |
Emblem | Corresponds to the old Cavalry Inspection, updated with the monogram “I C” in the center of the guard plate. |
