Guard Made of iron, comprising a straight angle stirrup guard. Cup-shaped semi-plate, slightly curved towards the blade, black wooden grip with longitudinal grooves, pommel and ferrule grooved to match the knob. Iron bridge on the left side of the base for thumb placement.
Blade Straight, with a square spine in the first two thirds and an edge in the rest; on the outside, an edge running along its entire length to the tip, which forms a blade with three flat surfaces.
Scabbard Probably black leather with iron fittings.
Inscription CAD LA (Line Cavalry) 1804 To (Toledo) R (royal property) Cs. IV (Charles IV)
