Guard Two-handed, gilded and engraved iron. Pommel shaped like a cross with images of Saint John the Baptist and the emblems of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. Wooden grip covered with red velvet and wire wrapped.
Blade Straight, very long, and double-edged up to the tip. Distinctive of an unknown armorer.

Description This estoque was used in the ceremonies to knight individuals by the Catholic Monarchs and continued by their grandson King Charles I of Spain.
