Guard | Brass, long knuckle bow, ring, two quillons, and cup with emblem inscribed “11 FEBRUARY 1873,” scales of justice, sword, and Phrygian cap. Grooved ferrule and wooden grip covered with sandpaper and wired with copper thread. |
Blade | Curved with hollow grind and square spine on the inside. Full edge to the tip on the outside. |
Scabbard | Steel with a mouthpiece, two clamps with rings, and a chape. |
