Guard | Made of engraved and gilded brass, very elegant; consists of a pierced cup, a knuckle guard, and a quillon ended with a dog’s head. The front of the guard features a mask resembling a mythological god, and on the front of the cup, the coat of arms of Spain surrounded by the Golden Fleece. Spherical pommel with a button. Grip made of ebony with spiral fluting and metal twisted wire. |

Scabbard | Made of leather, with a highly decorated brass gilded throat like the chape. Coat of arms of Spain on the suspension button. |
