Guard	Made of alpaca, large size, with extensive protection consisting of openwork, quillons, and rosettes. Engineers emblem on the front with mural crown. Puerto Seguro type grip.
Blade	Straight, flat back on the inside and edge on the outside. Flat-ground fullers and a groove on the last third of the back. Point aligned with the axis of symmetry.
Scabbard	Nickel-plated iron with one clasp and one ring. Lyre-shaped drag.
Inscription	ARTILLERIA FCA DE TOLEDO
Description	Example of military effect offers to officers. Probably limited use to mounted posts.
