Hilt | Entirely made of polished iron. Truncated-conical pommel on a urna-shaped base, topped with a high knob and decorated in a pearl-like style. Beautiful tapered grip with a protective piece, finely faceted with a burin, with added pearl-like decoration following the same design and joined by beautiful copper wire. Straight quillons ending in circles, small open-arc guarding fingers and dish-shaped basket hilt with an elliptical perimeter, slightly concave, decorated to match the other mentioned elements. Absence of a fixed handguard or chain. |
Blade | Straight, with three fullers and two edges. Notable for its decoration featuring legends and alchemical symbols. |

Description | This small sword with a marked courtly design presents an archaic, palatial, and of course, clearly civilian form when compared to its 19th-century descendants. The pommel is identical to that of the two previous pieces, which in Norman’s book is listed as number 92 and is said to have been used around 1790. |
