Hilt | Guanabacoa-type hilt, made of gilt brass, featuring a protective shell engraved with the coat of arms of Spain. Robust knuckle guard with right-angled bridge and ergonomic grip with deep finger grooves. Horn scales with reinforcement, pins, and ferrule. Hollowed underside of the plate forming the crossguard and two brass pieces covering the first centimeters of the blade. |
Blade | Straight and of considerable length, with a progressive increase in width from the base to the tip. Features a half-round groove starting from the first third up to the ricasso. Tip aligned with the spine. |
