Mounting	Entirely silver. Smooth handguard, pommel with engraved cap, ebony grip with longitudinal grooves, guard with lion heads and the initials “MIL” beneath a royal crown.
Blade	Straight, with ricasso on two-thirds, rounded back, fine fuller and sharp edge on the outside.
Scabbard	Black leather, with worked silver throat and chape.
Inscription	RL FAÐ TO AÑO Đ 1833
Stamps	F-MPRENO and Madrid coat of arms
Description	Creation of the Cavalry Regiment by Royal Decree in March 1833, serving as the Honor Escort of Princess María Isabel Luisa of Bourbon.
