Guard | Made of alpaca, consisting of a cross of curved quillons turned in opposite directions and a pommel simulating an eagle’s head, with the mouth hole holding the knuckle bow. Handle with two squared resinous scales, secured by two cross pins and occasionally three. |
Blade | Straight, flat, with a barely perceptible increase in width towards the tip, where the edge breaks diagonally forming a point in line with the spine. |
Scabbard | Natural-colored leather, with alpaca throat and chape. |
