Reference 2-1818-C Name Saber model 1818 for Infantry Troopers Hilt Morally cast in a single piece of brass, with 28 rivets on the pommel and a simulation of a running monterilla, ring, and swivel, topped with a ball. Slight hollows on the plane of the blade. Scabbard Leather, fitted with a throat and a brassed tip, with a button for the belt. Inscription RL FAÐ TDO YEAR Đ 1818 Description Under the generic and variable title of “Infantry Troop,” many sabers were named for Grenadiers, Hunters, Royal Valonas Guards, and others, including classes of Corporals and Sergeants. This saber became the standard for Sergeants on foot in Infantry, Medical, and Administrative units, as well as those in engineering, artillery, Civil Guard, and Carabineros institutes.
