Guard | Gilded brass, in Elizabethan design. Simple cross formed by two horizontally aligned finely chiseled quillons. In the central polygon, an emblem. Prominent pommel. Three-lobed pommel featuring the emblem of firefighters, a pick, a spade, a hose, and a helmet with a crest. Ebony grip with cords and wiring with a twisted copper thread plus two smooth threads. Wide lower guard decorated, and a narrower one at the top. |
