| Guard | Made of iron. Turned knob in ovoid and smooth shape with a prominent button or pommel. Handle wrapped with a graceful combination of smooth and braided wire. Quillons shaped like a Turkish head. Three bridges connecting one of them to the ring or knuckle guard in perfect curvature. Quillons with a square section, horizontal and turned forward and backward. The lower part of the ricasso increases its protection with two small cups or pierced shells. |
