Hilt | Straight crossguard with a slot for the rifle’s muzzle. Two smooth walnut wooden grips fastened with two screw pins. It has a groove, latch, button, and spring for weapon attachment. All metal parts are burnished steel. |
Blade | Straight, with a ricasso, continuous cutting edge on the outside and a square back on the inside, with a fuller nearly reaching the tip. |
Scabbard | Black patent leather with mouth and chape also of burnished steel. Hook for attaching it to the belt. |
Inscription | FCA NACIONAL TOLEDO 61253 D. Machete model 1913 according to Royal Order of March 11, in variant for 1940, with improved finishes for the Company of Moroccan Riflemen of the Guard of H.E. the Head of State and Generalissimo of the Armies. |
