| Guard | Made of gilded brass, in the shape known as sailing barquilla. Features a front hand guard with undulations that, starting from the cup, ends in a reverse curve to join the ring. Cross of reversed quillons and two inner ones, called “patillas” or grip arms. Ricasso wrapped in brass. Handle made of black ebony wood, with a rectangular tapering shape and longitudinal moldings. Two square ferrules and a faceted pommel. High tang finished with a button. |
