Guard | Made of gilded brass, known as the vela barquilla style. Features a front handguard with undulations that, starting from the cup, ends in a counter-curve joining the ring. Cross of reversed hawks in the opposite direction and two inner ones, called sidearms or handle arms. Knuckle bow wrapped in brass. Grip made of black ebony wood, with a tapered rectangular shape and longitudinal moldings. Two square ferrules and a faceted pommel. High knurl finished with a button. |
Blade | Straight with the edge on the outside. Square spine in the first two-thirds to a flat and double-edged on three flats in the last third. |
