Hilt | Made of brass, with two hawksbeak guards and a bent arch ring. Long pommel with upper dome, a ball-shaped finial, and diamond-shaped guides whose upper part reinforces the grip as a pommel cap and the lower part acts as a sheath track to prevent the blade from moving inside. Well-designed wooden grip covered in dyed leather. The specimen has lost part of the twisted cord. |
Blade | Curved, large, with a belly width up to the guard, also reaching the flat spine on the inside. Exteriorly, a sharp edge up to the tip with a marked flat. |
Sheath | Sturdy, with two broad brass fittings and their respective rings. |

Description | Part of the group of regulation sabers, similar to the previous plate, from the early 19th century, characterized by the brass guard and the presence of two hawksbeak guards in the French style of the period. Its use was understandably reserved for officers. |
