Hilt	Golden brass with symmetrical cup and latticework. Olive branches as emblem. Ring with the Spanish Coat of Arms. Ivory grip, grooved and wired. Quillon in dog’s head shape, finished with a lion’s head.
Blade	Slightly curved, decorated, with rounded backs and grooves. Sharp edge and counter-edge on the flat.
Scabbard	Iron, nickel-plated, with suspension ring and corresponding band.
Inscription	FABRICA Ð TOLEDO AÑO DE 1890
Regulation	Approved by Royal Order of December 14, 1886, includes detailed drawings.
