Description | With the arrival of the Bourbon dynasty in Spain, significant changes took place in the Spanish Army. The famous Tercios disappeared and Regiments and Battalions appeared. A lot of weaponry was imported from the neighboring country (France), but many officers continued to prefer a good sword made in Spain, such as this one from the distinguished Valencian swordsmith Jacinto Senís, who forged it in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. |
