Hilt | Turkish style, with gilded brass metal structure and ivory grips. Fixing button with internal channel for passing the sword knot, located where it twists outward. Straight guard and richly chiseled brass gilt scabbard guides. The intersecting space between elements is used for general rank symbols, sword over baton, on both sides. |
Blade | Curved, with a ricasso and practically flat. Inner spine is squared and disappears towards the tip, replaced by a raised edge. On the outside, a full edge extends to the tip. |
Scabbard | Sole leather, with gilded brass fittings for dress use and iron fittings for daily use. Both have two bands with corresponding rings. |
Inscription | FABRICA DE TOLEDO YEAR 1843, royal crown, Y2 and general rank badges. |
Regulation | Standard sword for Captain General, Lieutenant General and Field Marshal, according to the Royal Decree of May 30, 1840. |
Scabbards | Two: one leather for dress and one polished steel for everyday use. |
Cord | Dark turquoise blue with gold mix. |
