Name Sword of shells (colichemarde and flamígera)
Period 17th Century
Guard Made of iron, with a geometry based on two perfectly defined shells, without added bars or bridges, except for the knuckle-bows, the side guards, and the ring, all of them cylindrical and with minimal decorative elements. Pommel in a urn with a button. Grip with vertical grooves and progressively decreasing thickness from the center.
Blade Straight, wide, with three channels cut in its first third to suddenly decrease, transitioning to flamígera. Very short ricasso. Edges running along both sides.
