Period 17th century
Guard Finely crafted iron shells, naive design featuring a castle among four lions, bordered by a frieze with repeated motifs. Crossguard with two straight quillons, four knuckle bows, semicircular handguard to the pommel, and escutcheon. Ovoid iron pommel with ridges and tapered wooden grip.
Blade Straight, with a central fuller in the strong third, inscribed and with edges on both sides.
