Guard | Slim guard of graceful design, formed by a ring from which a quillon extends to the pommel. Handle covered with smooth wire, topped by a crown-shaped pommel. Shell especially pierced and chiseled around its perimeter with garlands of oak and olive. In the center, a perfect shield of Spain and a finely worked Golden Fleece stand out, both flanked by two stern lions in an arrogant rampant position. |
Blade | Triangular section, manufactured in Solingen and decorated with floral motifs in gold. |
Sheath | Made of black leather with a throat and tip, both in gilded brass and decorated with whimsical leaves and scrolls. |
