Guard Loop or bridge type, well characterized, beautifully chiselled and silver inlaid, bulky pommel, laceration in almost flat sections, grip in fine spiralled golden wire in a salomanic style.
Blade Straight, with three faces, featuring a fuller in the strong third and double-edged along its length, excellent polishing.

Description This sword was likely forged by Sebastián Hernández “the elder,” who lived in 1637, or by Sebastián Hernández “the younger.” Its pommel is similar to number 32 in the Normam book and was used between 1570 and 1625.
